Wake Up

She missed knowing how to be alone. Before, there was no expectation from anyone, she did not long for approval and she did not yearn for understanding. It was okay if no one understood her because she had no need to fall back on anyone. She had faith in herself, and her source of power.

The Self Must Know Stillness Before It Can Discover It's True Song.

She had found feet in the unknown and embraced its unequivocal nature, sure that regardless of what lay ahead in her journey it would only bring her closer to her destiny. And day by day, she found herself showered in blessings, whether that was in the little moments of her own essence, in the wildlife of her surroundings, or whether it be in the struggle of reaching nearer to her success. Who knew what it was - the strength of her perception, or belief in oneself.

When you reach the end of what you should know, you will be at the beginning of what you should sense.

Happiness had infused in her every breadth and she was grateful for the love, protection and trust she had found in her source of power. Not one day would go by without she finding herself lost for words to her own beautiful reality. Though she felt a trifle of fear that this could all slip away in blink of an eye, she had an unmistakable spirit and faith that she would not forget who this all belonged to.

Whilst we are all human, that does not give us the right to justify our wrongdoings.

Born as human beings it has been established that we may falter and fall astray to find ourselves lost in the wilderness of life. Yet it is also well founded that we have the courage and bravery of a lion to get up and find our path again.

She had allowed fear to creep in and find home in her heart. She had accommodated a selfish feeling of ego and pride and exuded a person that the world now wanted to see. She had lost sight of her beautiful reality and began painting a picture for the world, forgetting who she truly was.

Who is the world to you?

Consumed by status, the material norms, the spotlight, she had lost her way in the darkness. Walking in the daylight of each morning, she could only see herself growing closer and nearer toward the black hole in her every step. She was now desperate to get out but could find no path to follow.

Ego says: Once everything falls into place, I will find peace
Spirit says: Find peace, and everything will fall into place

Two years now pass, and she has found no peace, waiting for the day that everything will finally fall back into place like before. In those two years she has marked her skin with scars that only she can erase, that only she has the power to forgive. And living with memories of her horrific past, only she knows how she has woken up every day to a new morning.

Slowly you begin to create a home for the past and you no longer live each day - rather, you get by.

Until someone else wakes you up.

In a World Like This

Looking back, she could see that every step in her life, however happy or unhappy it had made her, it never failed to teach her something new each time. Or was it that she chose to find meaning in every walk of her life? Nothing can replace those understandings.

But this time, as a certain chapter of her life was coming to an end, an unsettled feeling found home in her soul. Pain. Sorrow. Nothing could remove that emotion, and her heart wanted nothing more but to end this journey with beautiful memories, with tears of joy. But in chasing the death of sorrow she was running out of time. This time... this time, she didn't run to the core. Instead, she took a step that she vowed she would never take - she ran away from her pain, her reality.

Did she want to see what would be found on the other side of the spectrum or did she run out of strength and courage to fight her heartache?

Whatever it was, she had found feet on new ground. Unfamiliar ground. It was as though her feet had found a new path in the last few months of her chapter. She didn't know how to respond to her new discovery because being in an unhappy place in life, its difficult to see things for their true value.

Was it marvellous leaping to a new vision, or was it regret having not been here since the start?

Whether it was the right thing or not, for once, she just didn't want to handle her pain anymore. It wasn't that she couldn't - because she believed nothing was impossible - rather, she didn't want to. Free fall. She unleashed what she felt was her pandora's box. But what was it?

The beauty she encountered had led her to the cross-roads of life: Unforgettable memories that her heart knows will never be lost, incredible friends that she can call her better halves, once in a life time experiences that can never be recreated.

How could all these things be the product of Pandora's box? Or was the unsettled feeling distorting the vision of her reality?

She found herself lost in belief of how mesmerising living could be. She had met many people in her life, lived many memorable moments too. But this was something she couldn't even comprehend. How could friendship be so powerful, how could love be so infectious? It felt so good to be something so bad.
Nothing could be you other than you
Lost.
